Description:
BuddyPress Recent Profile Visitors is a plugin for BuddyPress social networks that shows the most recent profile visitors on a user profile as well as the most popular users on a site. It suits site owners who want to let members see who visited their profiles recently and who want to list the most popular users in their community.
The plugin records users who viewed profiles recently, and based on the settings, a user can see who viewed their profile. Site admins can show the most popular users over a period of time, for example the top 10 users over the last 30 days or 7 days. The plugin includes a widget for the most visited users, with a choice of slider or list view and an optional view count, plus two shortcodes: one to list the most visited or popular users and one to list recent visitors for a given user or the logged in user. Recent visitors can also appear as a tab in the members directory and, if enabled, as a new profile component where a user can see who visited them in the last 7 days, 30 days and all time.
Recording and display can be turned on or off by individual users, and features can be enabled or disabled for users based on roles using a small code snippet. When a user turns visit recording off, no data is recorded for them and their visits are not shown, since display must be mutual. Site admins can override this behaviour, and all plugin features can be turned off easily through the admin panel.
The vendor’s own page for BuddyPress Recent Profile Visitors has the full details.
