Description:

This plugin adds badge functionality to communities built on BuddyPress. It allows site administrators to create any number of custom badges and assign them to users, either manually or automatically. These badges are displayed on the BuddyPress member list and on the user's profile page. The functionality is designed to show appreciation to users and add a sense of belonging within the community.

The plugin supports several ways to assign badges. Users can receive custom badges, which can be sorted using drag and drop to control the display order on the profile. Badges can be assigned based on specific WordPress roles or specific member types. Administrators can also mark badges as active or deactivate them when necessary. Badges can be shown on the Members directory, Group members listing, or Single user profile.

You can use the shortcode [bp-user-badges] to list members who have a specific badge. This shortcode requires a slug and allows optional parameters such as context, view, and maximum number of users. Badge position can be set using settings to appear before or after the user's name. The plugin is compatible with BuddyPress 8.0 and later versions.
