Description:

Gallery Custom Links (Pro) is a WordPress plugin that allows you to link images from galleries to a specified URL. Instead of leaving gallery images without a destination, the plugin gives you a way to point each image at an address you choose. This is the core purpose of the product, and everything else about it follows from that single idea: images placed in a gallery can carry a link to a URL that you specify.

The plugin works alongside the gallery tools that WordPress site owners already use. It has been tested with the WordPress Gallery, with Gutenberg, and with the Meow Gallery plugin, as well as others. This means that if you build your galleries using the gallery block that ships with WordPress, or if you compose content in the Gutenberg editor, or if you use Meow Gallery to display your images, the plugin is designed to operate in those environments. Support for additional gallery solutions beyond these named ones is also indicated by the source, which states that it was tested with the WordPress Gallery, Gutenberg, Meow Gallery and others.

The product is intended for WordPress users who want their gallery images to lead somewhere specific. Anyone who publishes image galleries on a WordPress site and needs those images to function as links to chosen URLs falls within the audience for this plugin. Because it has been tested across several common gallery approaches, it suits site owners working with different setups rather than a single fixed workflow.

Gallery Custom Links (Pro) is published by Meow Apps, and the official page for the plugin can be found at meowapps.com, where further information about Gallery Custom Links is available. The version described here is 2.3.1, and this listing refers to the Pro edition of the plugin. In summary, it is a focused tool with a clear job: it takes images in your galleries and lets them link to a URL you specify, and it does so within the gallery environments that WordPress users commonly rely on.
