Description:

This plugin connects GamiPress with BuddyPress. BuddyPress is used to build community websites on WordPress with member profiles, activity streams, user groups and messaging. The integration adds gamification to a BuddyPress community to engage and motivate members. It works automatically and adds new activity events and features to GamiPress.

The plugin adds events for account activation, assignment to a specific profile type and profile updates such as changes to the avatar, cover image or profile information. Friendship events cover sending, accepting, rejecting and removing friendships. Message events track when a user sends or replies to private messages. Activity stream events cover publishing, removing, replying to and favoriting activity posts, as well as receiving replies and favorites. Group events cover creating, deleting, joining and leaving groups, requesting to join private groups, inviting members to a group, and promotions to moderator or administrator.

Users can be blocked by profile type from earning anything from GamiPress. Drag and drop settings select which point types, achievement types and rank types appear on user frontend profiles, activities and listings, and in what order. A further setting controls which elements appear in activity streams. Tabs shown on user profiles are managed in the GamiPress settings, and each type edit screen includes options for what displays on the BuddyPress activity feed.
