Description:
Scroll Triggered Popups is an extension for the Popup Maker plugin that opens popups as visitors scroll down a page. A popup appears when the user reaches a specific point that you can tailor to your needs. Unlike traditional footers, widgets, and sidebars, it shows specific material to specific users as they scroll, giving them another chance to browse, buy, comment, or interact.
Triggers can be set by distance in pixels, percent, EM, or REM, by shortcode, or by custom selectors, so any element on the page can trigger a popup when scrolled on screen. An optional setting closes the popup when the user scrolls back up. You can add shortcodes for related posts plugins, newsletter sign up forms, or advertisements related to the current page, and cookie settings can stop it showing again to the same visitor.
The extension builds on the core Popup Maker plugin, which provides targeting, positioning, size, animations, and styling, plus the Theme Builder and WYSIWYG content editor. It can be extended with the Advanced Targeting Conditions extension. Uses include related content at the end of articles, a discreet newsletter sign up form in the bottom right corner, a call to action at the bottom of a landing page, or a contact bar with a form button, phone number, and email address.
