Description:
Salon Booking System is an appointment booking plugin for WordPress. It is aimed at hairdressers and barbers, beauticians, therapists, personal trainers, doctors and spa businesses. The vendor's update notes for version 1.0.5 describe a release that fixed many important bugs and introduced new features.
Booking runs on two algorithms. In the basic version every booking has a fixed duration, which you set in the booking rules settings tab called Define your time/session average duration. In the advanced version the duration of a booking is calculated as the sum of the durations of the services the customer books, so the total time depends on which services are combined. To use this algorithm you need to set a duration for each of your services.
The same release adds a Hide prices option. If you do not want to display the price of your services, you can enable this option. French, Italian and German translations were added, and people who want to contribute can join the project's translation team on Transifex. The plugin is extended through official add-ons. Multi-Shops manages multiple locations from the same website. Communicator is an AI powered email marketing system used to communicate with your customers. WooCommerce checkout can be used to process payments for bookings, and a Smart Wait List add-on is part of the range as well.
A demo of the booking form can be opened on the vendor's website to see it in action. The product range also includes a Mobile Web App and a Restful API. Support materials include documentation, video tutorials and a changelog, and the vendor offers custom features development. Questions about the plugin or requests for more features can be sent by email, and visitors can vote on the next feature. The vendor also publishes guides and articles about booking and scheduling platforms, and a community of more than 5,000 professionals receives news about product improvements and exclusive offers.
