Site Reviews: Review Authors, version 1.2.1, is an add-on in the Site Reviews family. The add-on does one thing: it allows people to update and delete their reviews from the frontend. In practice this means that a visitor who has written a review on a site running Site Reviews can return to that site and make changes to the review they submitted, or remove it completely. The add-on centers on the people behind the reviews, which is reflected in its name.

The key detail in the description is the word frontend. The updating and deleting of reviews happens on the public side of the website, the part that visitors see, rather than in the WordPress admin area. A reviewer therefore does not need access to the backend of the site to manage the review they wrote. The actions are carried out by the reviewers themselves, on their own reviews, from the pages of the site they already use.

Two actions are covered. Updating a review means the reviewer can change the content of the review they previously submitted, revising what they wrote. Deleting a review means the reviewer can remove their review from the site entirely. Both actions belong to the reviewer, since the add-on is about review authors and their own submissions. These are the only two actions the add-on covers, so its scope is frontend updating and frontend deleting of reviews, nothing more.
