UsersWP Moderation is an addon for UsersWP that adds manual moderation of user signups. Its purpose is to let you approve or reject each person who registers on your site, so the decision about who becomes a member sits with you rather than with the registration form itself. The addon is built to work together with UsersWP and concentrates on this single task: signups are checked by a person before they are allowed to use the site.

The addon works through a setting in the registration options. As soon as it is active, an extra option named "Require admin review" appears in the Registration Action setting under Register, right where the registration action is configured. Whether that option is switched on is your choice. When it is set, the registration process gains a review step, and each new signup waits for an admin decision before the user can log in to the site.

Approval is the step that makes the account usable. If the "Require admin review" option is set, you need to manually approve each user, and a user who has not been approved cannot log in to the site. A new signup therefore stays outside the site until you have reviewed it and given your approval. Rejection is also part of the addon, so a signup you do not want can be turned away rather than being waved through.

This addon is aimed at sites running UsersWP whose admins want to decide for themselves who may join the site. Because the addon is 100% translatable, its text can be translated to match the language of that site. Manual approval of signups, a dedicated option in the registration settings, and full translatability together give a UsersWP site a way to keep registration under human control, with every new member passing an admin review before gaining access.
