UsersWP MyCred is an add on that connects UsersWP with myCRED, a point management system. myCRED is built around the idea that site owners can reward their users for doing certain actions, and this addon brings that idea to user profiles. The action it focuses on is completing the profile. When a member fills in their profile, the addon awards myCRED points for it, so filling out a profile becomes one of the actions that myCRED can reward. For a site that already runs both UsersWP and myCRED, the addon links profile activity with the points system so the two plugins work together.

The way points are handled is per profile field. For each profile field, you set the point amount you want to give to users, or take from them. A positive amount rewards the user, while a negative amount removes points. Fields that have zero points set are considered disabled, and they will not trigger any points at all. This means you decide, field by field, which parts of the profile are worth points and which parts stay out of the points system entirely.

Points do not only flow from the site to the user. The addon can also allow users to transfer points to each other. When the site owner allows this, a member can go to the profile page of another user and transfer points from there. The transfer happens directly between members, and the profile page of the receiving user is where it is carried out.

This addon is aimed at site owners who use UsersWP for member profiles and myCRED for points, and who want profile completion and member to member transfers to be part of the same points setup.
