EffectIO UsersWP - Profile Progress 1.2.9

Description:

UsersWP Profile Progress is an addon for UsersWP that displays a profile completion progress bar on your site. It works as a widget, so you can place the progress bar wherever widgets are supported in your theme. The addon is built specifically for sites running UsersWP, and it extends that plugin by adding profile completion tracking for user profiles.

Once the addon is active, it adds a new settings page in the UsersWP area under the menu item Progress. This settings page is where the completion system is configured. Instead of a single global setting, the addon works on a per field basis: you assign a percentage value to each profile field. These values determine how much each field contributes to the overall completion total, so you can decide which fields matter more and which matter less when calculating how complete a profile is.

The calculation itself is straightforward. When a user fills in a profile field, the profile completion percentage increases by the amount you assigned to that field. As more fields are completed, the percentage climbs accordingly, and the progress bar shown through the widget reflects this running total. This gives users a visible indicator of how much of their profile they have filled in and how much remains, based entirely on the field weights you configured on the Progress settings page.

The addon is 100 percent translatable, which means its text can be translated into other languages. This makes it suitable for sites that serve audiences in more than one language, or for site owners who want the progress interface to appear in a language other than the default. In summary, UsersWP Profile Progress is aimed at site owners who use UsersWP and want to encourage users to complete their profiles. It provides a widget based progress bar, a dedicated settings page for assigning percentages to individual profile fields, a completion percentage that grows as fields are filled in, and full translatability of its strings.

• Shows a profile completion progress bar via a widget
• Adds a settings page in UsersWP under Progress when active
