Description:

wpDiscuz Media Uploader is an official add-on for the wpDiscuz commenting plugin. It lets commenters upload photos, videos, audio and other file types with their comments, and it provides separate buttons for each type of media and file. The add-on works with single and multiple file uploading modes and uses an AJAX uploading and validation system. Site owners can control file count, size and type, and attachments can be enabled for specific user roles and guests individually.

Attached files are shown on the submitted comment with an image lightbox and HTML5 video and audio players. Single and multi photo attachments can be displayed in different sizes. Displaying options let you customize media components such as images, thumbnails and players, and a separate option turns the media uploading buttons on or off. Users can preview attached images, set their order and delete an attachment while the editing time limit has not expired. All front-end phrases are available in the settings page for translation, and the interface is responsive and RTL ready.

The add-on installs like any other WordPress plugin and is configured under the wpDiscuz settings in the Media Uploader sub tab. It requires at least wpDiscuz version 7.5 and should not be installed on lower versions. Version 7.1.7 adds attachments in emails.
