The WPForms PDF addon generates PDF documents from form entries. It can create a PDF copy of a form's notification email or build fully customized documents such as invoices, certificates, or contracts with your own brand styling. PDFs include whatever the form collects, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, uploaded file links, payment details, and signatures. It suits site owners who want professionally formatted PDFs from their form entries.
PDFs are generated on WPForms servers instead of on your site. Entry content is sent to wpformsapi.com, rendered, and returned, and neither the entry content nor the finished PDF is stored. All generation takes place on servers in the United States. In the form builder you add a new PDF under the PDF settings and edit it in an editor with a live preview on the left and settings on the right.
The file name defaults to the form name with a .pdf extension and supports smart tags. You choose which email notifications the PDF attaches to, and conditional logic can restrict generation to entries meeting certain conditions. Ready-made templates are included, and template fields, appearance, and advanced settings can be customized. Users can download a PDF from the confirmation message, and generated PDFs can be viewed later. The addon requires WPForms 1.9.7.3 or higher.
