Description:
Directorist Claim Listing is an extension for the Directorist directory plugin that lets business owners claim ownership of listings already published on a directory website. The idea is simple: you or your registered users add businesses to the site, and the real owners of those businesses can then be contacted, or contact you, to claim their listing. Once they claim it, they can update the business information and add attractive pictures to attract more clients, and they pay you for that ready-made listing. This gives directory owners a way to earn revenue from their site, similar to how Foursquare and Yelp work.
The extension adds a Claim Listing widget with a button on the listing details page. Users claim a listing by completing a simple form, and they make a payment if a fee or pricing plan is assigned to the claim. A claim can be free, charged at a default fixed fee, or based on a pricing plan, which requires the Pricing Plan or WooCommerce Pricing Plan extension. It is fully compatible with the WooCommerce Pricing Plan and works with gateways such as PayPal, Stripe, and Offline Bank Payment, and with any gateway WooCommerce supports when using the Directorist WooCommerce Pricing add-on.
Site admins moderate all claims from a simple dashboard interface where they can approve, reject, or delete any claim. Email notifications to the admin and the claimer can be enabled or disabled for when a claim is made, approved, or rejected, and the email templates can be customized from the dashboard. The extension requires the Directorist plugin, WordPress 5.0 or higher, and PHP 7 or higher.
The vendor’s own page for Directorist – Claim Listing has the full details.
