Description:

The Timezone Selector is an addon for LatePoint, the appointment scheduling plugin for WordPress. It adds a timezone selector on the date and time picker step of the booking flow, so customers can pick the time zone that applies to them while choosing an appointment slot. Customers can also change their timezone later from their cabinet. The addon is aimed at WordPress sites that use LatePoint and want customers to select or change their timezone during booking and afterwards.

Beyond the selector itself, the addon exposes customer timezone variables for notification templates, letting messages reflect the timezone a customer selected. Timezone choices are stored in cookies rather than in session storage. The current release, version 1.1.4, adds support for password-less booking management.

The addon was created on Oct 29, 2019 and its latest update, version 1.1.4, was released on Jul 21, 2023. Its changelog records compatibility updates, including compatibility with LatePoint 4.7.0, along with fixes for day offs for agents, timezone display on the verification step, negative timezone slots, timezones not being saved correctly, and double curly brackets appearing in variables.

The vendor’s own page for LatePoint Addon – Timezone Selector has the full details.
