It handles several migration scenarios: moving a single-site installation to another single-site server, moving a WordPress single site into an existing multisite sub-site, migrating a sub-site to another multisite sub-site, and migrating a multisite sub-site back to a single site. All of this happens within the WordPress admin.

The plugin also covers backup and restore. It creates WordPress backup and restore packages for single-site and multisite setups, and it can back up an individual sub-site within a multisite network. Before testing changes, you can back up the WordPress database from within the admin area and restore it with one click, returning the database to its earlier state.

Prime Mover Pro works across platforms, including Nginx, Apache, Litespeed, Microsoft IIS, and localhost. It can clone a single site and restore it to any server, and it can clone a sub-site in a multisite network and restore it as either a single site or a multisite. Legacy multisites are supported, a debug package is included, and the plugin supports backup of non-UTF8 single-site or multisite databases. It suits WordPress administrators who need to move, clone, or back up single sites and multisite networks.
