EffectIO Easy Digital Downloads - Invoices 1.3.4

Description:

The Invoices feature for Easy Digital Downloads lets customers of a store create HTML-based invoices from their purchases. Customers can print the invoice or download it as a PDF and use it for VAT compliance. Where the store allows it, customers can enter their name, address, and VAT number on the generated invoice, and all of these fields are optional. The feature requires the Easy Digital Downloads PRO version to be installed and activated on the site.

Store owners configure invoices in the Easy Digital Downloads settings under Payments and Invoices. An invoice page containing the edd_invoices shortcode must be created and selected in the invoice settings. Optional settings cover disabling address editing, blocking invoices for free purchases with a total value of zero, a logo URL, an invoice style with template and accent color, company name and address, a registration number, a tax or VAT number, and additional text at the bottom of each invoice.

Customers generate invoices from their purchase history page. Admins can open an invoice from the orders screen or from the email tab in the order details. The invoice screen provides buttons to update details, go back, print, and download a PDF. A tag can be added to purchase receipt emails so customers receive a View Invoice link in the email.
