Description:
Easy Digital Downloads is an eCommerce solution for selling digital and other non-physical products on WordPress, and this plugin connects it with GamiPress. The connection is automatic and adds gamification to the store through new activity events and features, to engage users and increase sales. It suits store owners who run both plugins and want to reward customer activity.
The integration adds new activity events. Triggers include publishing a new download, making a purchase, purchasing a specific download, a specific variation, or a download from a specific category or tag. A purchase can trigger once per order or on every download purchased, with separate events for free and paid downloads. Refund events cover purchases, specific downloads, variations, categories and tags, and vendor events cover making a sale and getting a download refunded. Another event triggers when a user lifetime value is equal to, less than or greater than a set value.
Further events come through supported extensions such as EDD FrontEnd Submissions, EDD Wish Lists, EDD Downloads Lists, EDD Reviews, EDD Download Pages and EDD Social Discounts, covering download approvals, wish list activity, wishes, favorites, likes and recommendations lists, reviews, download pages and shared downloads. From the download edit screen, an amount of points can be set to award customers for purchasing a download.
The vendor’s own page for GamiPress – Easy Digital Downloads integration has the full details.
