EffectIO UsersWP - Easy Digital Downloads 1.2.2

Description:

UsersWP Easy Digital Downloads is an addon that connects UsersWP with Easy Digital Downloads. Its purpose is to bring store related information onto the user profile pages that UsersWP provides. Once the addon is in place, every user profile gains two additional tabs, one labeled Downloads and one labeled Purchases. Each tab presents a different side of a member's relationship with the store, so profile pages reflect both what a member creates and what that member buys.

The Downloads tab displays the digital products created by the user whose profile is being viewed. When someone opens a profile, this tab lists the products that the profile owner has created in the store. For sites where members act as product authors, the tab gathers a member's created products in one place on their profile, so the profile page itself becomes a point of access to that member's work in the store.

The Purchases tab displays the digital products purchased by the user. Where the Downloads tab covers the creating side, the Purchases tab covers the buying side, listing the products that the profile owner has purchased from the store. Together, the two tabs present both roles a user can have in relation to the store, the role of a creator whose products appear on the profile and the role of a customer whose purchases appear there as well.

The addon is 100% translatable, which means its text can be rendered in the language a site uses. It is built for sites that run both UsersWP and Easy Digital Downloads, since it extends the profile pages of UsersWP with information drawn from the Easy Digital Downloads store. Site owners who use those two plugins together can add the addon to place the Downloads and Purchases tabs on their user profile pages. In short, the addon takes store activity on both the creating side and the buying side and makes it visible within user profiles.
